Interview with Shemar Moore: My interview with Shemar Moore was by far one of the most enlightening, humbling, and eye-opening experiences as a blogger and woman! Shemar not only talked about The Bounce Back, but also his life goals, his ambitions, and things he enjoys doing. I got to know Shemar as a person who drives on success, but also has a sense of balance to enjoy things like hanging out with his pups, enjoying the beach, and cycling for a cause that he holds dear to his heart (the national MS Bike Ride for his Mom). If there is one thing I will never forget that Shemar said, it was his view on life: “I don’t want to leave this world being known as the guy with a six pack. I want to leave this world knowing that I made a difference, and I successfully accomplished the things I was meant to do. That I fulfilled my purpose.” I’ve taken those words to heart , and have a new found respect for Shemar – he’s not just a lady’s man…he’s a successful man, a man who loves his mom, and a man who wants to fulfill his purpose in life, and the man who wants to fulfill his dream of producing his own movie – The Bounce Back.

BREAKING NEWS!!! Many of you know this heart stopping celebrity, and I know you’ll be excited to hear that Shemar Moore (star of the top-rated CBS crime show CRIMINAL MINDS and actor of several success films such as Diary of a Mad Black Woman and soap operas such as Young and the Restless) is producing his very own movie – The Bounce Back!

As an extremely talented (and gorgeous, I know, I had to throw that in there) actor – he is debuting as an Executive Producer to a new film in the making— The Bounce Back.
“The Bounce Back” is a heartfelt romantic comedy about finding the courage to love after love has let you down.
When I read “The Bounce Back” – that very same issue was at the core of the script and the character, Matthew Taylor. I saw a lot of myself in Matthew, although I’ve never written a book (but I’m thinking about it now, hint, hint). I felt a kindred spirit to what Matthew was going through and my own life. Matthew loses his wife, his first love and after a short recovery creates a best selling book and a system of survival in order to shield himself from the pain. He throws himself into a year long speaking tour.
That system of survival; his book and speaking tour, keeps him from falling in love again when he meets the perfect girl, the beautiful and zany Kristin Moreland. Matthew realizes that he has to renounce his book and the world he has created around it in order to take the big unknown plunge of letting himself fall in love again.
I think there is a wonderful poetry to that, the idea of risking it all for love. And I feel, in my heart, that is why we’re here on this planet. To love. After I put down the screenplay, “The Bounce Back,” I knew I had to make this movie simply because I believe in love all the way down to the fabric of my being.” – Shemar Moore.
